3 Important points from the recent PubCon conference in Las Vegas. The gives some excellent advice. I'll touch on 3 key seo elements in brief:
  • name files (both urls and file names like images) with keywords
  • USE hyphens (dashes) instead of underscores to separate words in a file name. Google doesn't recognize underscores as word separators.

Hyphens instead of underscores! I've spent so much time trying to get folks to eliminate spaces in filenames that I'd never learned about this tidbit!
