I guess I see things more from a real life position, being in the marketing of Canadian wilderness tourism industry and getting my hands dirty everyday. Theoretically the article sounds good but practically? I wonder if outdoors activities catch-and-release Fly-in fishing and First Nations tourism will ever really become a viable vacation option for Canadians to consider.

We certainly have developed a pretty decent market with our southern neighbours, but here at home, it just doesn't seem to be taking off like I had hoped a few years ago.

Seems to me that the more eco-friendly activities would be a welcome alternative to Canadians.

the American market is slower than usual this year. If only we can get our dollar to drop a bit ...
